[Insert Witty Title]

I didn't plan on making a post today. I didn't even plan on waking up before 3 in the afternoon, so I could savor what we had left of Winter Break. But, here I am wide eyed and awake.

This morning, I made the mistake of rolling over on my bed and squishing the squeaky toy my dog had left there. I heard a pitter-patter of steps as my two dogs ran up the stairs and into my room. I grudgingly got up only to find a shock of white fur. My dogs had very dark coats. This dog, however, had a very muddy yellowish white to it. That and it seemed to enjoy scratching my face to pieces.

It ran out of the room when it realized I was awake and went into my dad's. I grabbed it's collar there and turned it over trying to find a name. Michal-Angelo was my friends dog. So the story draws to a close as I venture out with my bed head, chipped nail polish, Orchestra tee, and pink cupcake pajama bottoms to return him.

This tale (no pun intended) is probably dreadfully boring to anyone besides me, haha. There's one thing I'm still trying to figure out. How did he get into my house (don't have a dog door)? Oh, well.

The One Day During Break That Teenagers Across the World Will Get Up Willingly For

Otherwise known as Christmas. The title's a bit of a mouthful, hey? I'll go ahead and say what everyone's thinking: finally! I know I've been counting the days.I hope the start of your day was lovely and you get everything you want.

Yesterday was kind of strange. I finished up my wrapping for my family's gifts, while texting several of my friends. I asked one of my friends, Kaylyn, what she was doing for Christmas. She replied, "going over to my gf's house. wbu?". I was sort of shocked. I asked her if she was bisexual, and she answered, "yes". My friend, Taylor, was there and saw what Kaylyn texted. Then she admitted she was bi, too. I was flabbergasted (haha, love the word).  I'd known them for so long, and they'd never told me. I'm okay with it, though. I suppose I've never thought about gay rights or whatever, but I have no prejudice against them. If that makes sense? *sigh* I'm the only person who could go from a Christmas post to gay rights. Oh, whatever.

This year, I decided to buy myself a gift. Conceited much, Hannah? =) I put the tag on it as "to Hannah from Santa". My parent's are going to freak out. I'm not sure why this thought makes me so happy, but it does. =)

Much love. Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas. -Hannah

Ps: I bought my older sister tic-tacs. And wrapped it all up with a bow.

Hello

I hope you all are as excited for Christmas as I am. I also can't believe 2010 is almost over. This year has gone by so fast, yet so much has happened at the same time.

Merry day before Christmas eve? Early New Year wishes? Er, happy belated Hanukkah?  *sigh*

I'd also like to dedicate a song in my sidebar to Nabilah (Hello by Evanescence). Rest in peace, dear.

Kids. They do the darndest things.

Today, I played a solo and a quartet in front of some judges. I was so nervous, but the judge told me I'd looked calm. Yesterday, I went to my friends slumber/birthday party. A lot of girls went and it was fun. I wished I could've stayed the night, but sadly I had to wake up super early. We did so many things and it was cool getting to know people outside of school. They're like completely different people. Crazy, and not afraid. But if anyone asks, we braided each others hair, had pillow fights, and talked about feelings. One of my new friends said that it sounded like a start of a porno, and I simply replied, "you would know".

Last week, I answered the door to my little neighbor. And the first thing he said to me was, "you're gorgeous!". And I laughed and said the same, amused he remembered our little game. I would call him what he thinks are girl words and then he would call me them. In a way, it's his "I know you are, but what am I?". Then the little girl, Emy, ran up to me, like in those overly cheesy love movies. She would run in slow motion, arms held out for an embrace calling my name, and I would drop to my knees so I could hug her. But seriously, it was too adorable. Especially with the chalk stains on her face.

1,2 Freddy's comin' for you. 3,4 better lock your door. . . well, you know the rest.

Happy Halloween. =)

Today, I found a spider in my shower. Festive, no?

PS: I rented Letters To Juliet. It has to have the sweetest, sappiest, most adorable ending ever. Oh, wow, I sound like such a girl.

Flying Is Just Falling And Missing The Ground

I'm not afraid of running for it, or even jumping off the edge. It's the falling that gets me every time.

This weekend, my little sister had her birthday party. Tons of her friends came (and some of mine as well), but only Anna (4th grader) and Grace (one grade younger than me because she failed the third grade) stayed the night. Grace (who is about the same age as me) stayed up half the night playing Mushimonsters with my little sisters. Before that we googled pictures of her favorite band, Panic At The Disco, for which she is stalker obsessed with.

Later the same weekend we went to a trail behind my house and went behind the lake to the railroad tracks that me and Ashley discovered last year. She pulled out her MP3 player and played Jingle Bells. It was completely random but totally awesome. So we sang jingle bells while walking on opposite sides of the railroad track, the MP3 headphone cord dangling between us. My voice was hoarse because of the cold I now fully have. It was fun, though. Fear because we could've been hit at any moment by an oncoming train, and excitement for the same reason. My little sisters were there too, but too afraid to go any farther than the edge of the lake.

Then later that day, we were stalked by a 4th grade giant. I'll explain in my next post. Hope you're all doing well and don't completely hate me for being the slowest catcher up-er (um?) on blogs. I promise I'll check up by Friday. Wish me luck on tomorrow's concert. =)

Überlastung

Life goes on way too fast. One minute it's Summer and I'm staying up late and sleeping in, the next I'm in Economics class doing a Current Events report. Days begin to blur together and I have no idea what's going on.

So much stuff is happening tomorrow. My grade is going to attend the Equestrian Games (we're so lucky, it's been a long time since it's been held outside of Europe). I'll try to get pictures with my cell phone, but it might rain so I'm not sure how they'll turn out. And after that we're (the orchestra) is going to perform for the school board which is going to be televised. I also have to figure out where this one person (Rachel, I think her name is) lives so I can deliver something she bought from my school  to her. Then after that I'm going to finish the two projects for Mr. Newton's class. I'm kinda peeved that he assigned two at the same time, but he's an okay teacher most of the time. Probably my favorite if I had to pick. He also teaches Medieval Times classes and has awesome stories that he'll tell us. He reenacts battles for a hobby and he's died twice. The first time when he was a boy scout (or something of the sort) and he was struck by lightning and his heart stopped beating for a couple of minutes. The second when he was in the military and in an enclosed space. There was a fire and they put this gas which would suck out all the oxygen (killing the fire, and as it also turns out him . . . for a few minutes anyway). He's only gotten mad at us once, and I don't blame him. I didn't do it, but locking him out of the classroom is a bit extreme, don't you think?

Any who, wish me luck. =)
By the way the title means "overload" in German. Oh, and if you don't know them check out Hey Monday. Just discovered them and love their music. Have a great week!

100th post =)

Finally, I know. Super sorry for being the suckiest updater on blogger. Life has been absolutely crazy lately. I guess you could say that my parents are separating. I honestly don't know what I think of this. I mean, it's certainly not their first fight or the even the first time they've brought up divorce. But they never went this far into it before. I found out a couple of weeks ago that my dad was seeing someone. And even though I had never met her, I instantly hated her. It's confusing. I don't know why my parents try to understand me, when I don't even know what I'm thinking half the time myself. I suppose I'm afraid he'll leave us. That he'll go live with her and her children and then forget all about me and Riley, and Taylor and even Erin. I just. . . don't know.

On a better subject, my birthday's coming up (it's the 15th). I have to take a test that day that determines what school I can go to next year. Since I'm in advanced classes this year, I'm hoping I can get into Scapa ; it's a really slim chance though because you have to be in the 96th percentile to even be considered. So most days, I've been birthday planning, studying, and watching old episodes of Roswell (amazing show) on Netflix.

Okay, I've babbled enough. Onto the 100th post stuff. It's mostly made up of a bunch of pictures from this summer; what I've been up to.

At the beginning of the summer, I dyed my hair blue. My hair looks like a mess in this picture (not to mention how pale I am), haha, sorry.

I babysat. . . a lot. (Dakota for the first two, Jacobi, Lily, Hailey, Atlas, Emmi)

I went to see fireworks on the fourth of July (it wasn't much, but still fun).

Movies with friends (I think we saw Shrek when we took this one, but we also saw Vampire's Suck).

I tried to figure out what the heck Riley was doing.

I got a tattoo (pshh, what do you mean temporary?)

I also joined Operation Beautiful.

I visited my grandparents countless times.

I went to the fair with my friend Rosa, too. Sorry this is the only picture I could get and it's all blurry

I went to my cousins birthday party (I know this picture is extremely small; sorry!)

I got to know my little sister Taylor a bit better. . . she frightens me. =)

Oh, and I was held at gunpoint. (blurry again, gosh my phone sucks. But it's Riley pointing a water gun at me if you can't tell)

Thank you for being so patient with me. I am a million times sorry that I couldn't get this out sooner. Hopefully I'll get back into the blogger pattern soon. Now I'm going to go. . . dance around in my pajamas to the Macarena? Pssh, no. I have to do Algebra. Oh, how I miss Summer. Lot's of love -Hannah

PS: Another sorry for the format. =/

Super Quick Update

I'm about to go to the pool, so I'm going to have to make this really short and quick. My next post will be my hundredth, and I'm going to post pictures from the Louieville zoo and other places I've been so far this summer. Sorry for the really long wait between this and my last post. More later. -Hannah

"Good morning, Starshine. The Earth says hello."

It's from Charlie and the Chocolate factory; my current obsession. Anyway, I was reading a blog, and came across something about Lady Gaga being an intelligent woman. I couldn't help but think, yeah right. I mean, have you seen what she wears in her music video of Telephone? I went on Youtube and searched for an interview from her. I found one, and it surprised me. She really is smart, and has reasons behind her extravagent outfits. You should watch one if you get the chance.

Today was the last day of school (well until August, I mean). I could stay up all night and not worry about falling asleep in Math. I could go swimming, because the pools are finally open. No more waking up at 7 AM. No more freezing weather. No more homework. No more teachers. No more crappy cafeteria food. I think I'm gonna miss that place.

Overdue

I haven't posted in a little over a week, but it seems like forever. I feel like I should be slapped on the wrist or something for being a sucky blogger lately with the finals and school ending. Sorry, I promise I'll post when I get the chance from now on. Anyway, I have a tag from Brooklynn that I need to accept. Thanks Brooklynn for thinking of me.

1.Q-What's one thing that made you happy today?
A- Finding out my grandma's coming to Kentucky tomorrow to pick my sisters and I up.

2.Q- What's one thing you wish you hadn't done today?
A- Sleep until two in the afternoon.

3. Q- What's the first memory of yours that comes to mind?
A- Last night when me and my little sister tried to do some freaky witch stuff after watching too many episodes of Charmed.

4. Q- Do you have a song stuck in your head? What is it?
A- Yes, it's Trouble by Never Shout Never. That and Get Crazy by LMFAO after listening to it on Ashley's ipod, on the bus to King's Island.

5. Q- What is the color of the walls in your bedroom?
A- Pink. = ( On the color card it looked red.

6. Q- Exactly where are you sitting right now?
A- Dining room table.

7. Q- When you think of your personality, what is the first word that you think of?
A- Quiet.

8. Q- What are you wishing right now?
A- That the weekend could last forever or that Summer would be here sooner.

9. Q-What's something you've said that you wish you could take back?
A- You know I'm kind of bad at blurting things out (i.e. asking who the new girl was when it was a boy with really long hair). Last week, I was talking to Ashley's boyfriend, and thinking about how she always laughs that he has a little unibrow and that she's gonna shave it off. I got a good look at him and it went kinda like this. . .
Me: She wasn't joking, you do have a unibrow.
Him: Huh?
Me: Nothing  *walks away*
I feel bad now. Hopefully he didn't hear me. I am kind of quiet.

10. Q-Are you alone or next to somebody right now?
A- Next to my little sister Riley.

I also recieved the Lovely and Loyal award from Abby (thanks).  The rules are

1. Say why you made your blog and if you expected it to be popular at all

2. State the exact date you started your blog

3. Nominate 10 loyal followers
1. I was reading Ally Carter's blog and I guess I've always wanted to do something like it. It was for fun,
I suppose. And no, I did not expect it to be popular at all. I just thought it would be something I could look back on when I'm middle aged and say "Hey, remember this?".

2. September 2nd

3. I nominate Riley, Tywo, Brooklynn, Bleah, Kenna Page, Alley Cat, Random Rawr, Megan, Jennie, and Foyin Ogunrombi.

By the way, I loved the trip to King's Island. I didn't get on all the rides I wanted to due to the enormous lines and limited time, but it was still fun. Have a nice weekend. -Hannah

But your best friend. . .

Will be in the next cell.

This is the product of my boredom. Four days until Kings' Island. I should really start practicing.

waiting. . .

This picture made me smile. I've been catching up on MLIA reading today. I came across one that said "Today, I saw that there was a song by Ke$ha called Mr. Watson about a romance with a hot history teacher. I realized that I have a hot history teacher named Mr. Watson and Ke$ha grew up in my town. Every 2nd period I can't help but wonder if I know my history teacher's deepest darkest secret." I think its fake, but I still checked out the song because I had never heard of it before. It's too funny. It's on my playlist now (towards the end). I can't wait to go to Kings Island. Five days until, counting today. . .

Thank you so much Dandalily and Abby for giving me the Sweet Blog award. The rules are:

*give this award to 10 sweet and friendly bloggers,

*make a post about the award including the picture and mention the person who gave it to you,

*put the award on your blog,

and

*let your nominated 10 know you've awarded them by leaving a comment!

I know a lot of my followers have already been awarded, so sorry if I'm giving it to someone who's already done it. I'll try my best not to. Okay, I award . . . its simple love, Tay in Real Life, Alley Cat, Riley, Tywo, Kenna-Page, Blindfolded Miles, Jennie, Sarah, and Brooklynn. Thanks again. More later -Hannah

Mother's Day Presents. . .

I don't know what to get my mom for Mother's Day, all of my sisters have already given her something. I want it to be good, since I've taken fifty something dollars from her paycheck to go to a musical competition in Kings Island. Hmmm. . . I don't know. I guess I'll figure it out. Anyway, speaking of Kings Island, I'm deciding whether or not to go on the DiamondBack again. Everyone I know is going to, but the first time I was on it, it scared me to death. It was so freaking high and fast and had so many hills. Click here to check out the POV of it.

I want to adopt these kids so badly:

By the way, testing is finally over. = ) I think I did pretty good, but I won't know for sure until the results come in. Hope you all have a good Mother's Day Weekend. -Hannah

My most embarrassing moment. This is going to be hard, because I blush 85% of the time for absolutely no reason. I think it has to be the time when I was five years old and went to the doctors office with my dad, because I stayed home from school sick. I don't remember most of it, but I do remember when the nurse brought me back to the waiting room. I sat on my dad's lap and the nurse offered me orange juice and ice cream. I, of course, took the ice cream. I ate it feeling completely fine. My dad urged me to take the orange juice. I did and after the first gulp, threw up all over him and the nurse. It was pretty embarrassing. Anyway, off to study. Testing tomorrow = ( Wish me luck -Hannah

Oh My Blog. . . and 7 Things

Two more things to catch up on from the days my computer was crashed. First, a tag from Random Rawr (thanks).

She wants us to tell 7 things we love most about ourselves:
1. My hair. It's dark black and naturally curly. I'm never going to dye it like my older sister Erin. She went from light brown, to pink in the front and dirty blond in the back, then blue, then red, then brown again.
2. My eyes. They are a mixture of blue, green, and gray. = )
3. My friends. I couldn't ask for better ones.
4. My ability to learn. I don't want to sound concieted or anything, I'm just glad I'm not failing my classes.
5. My taste in music. I love that I have a variety of favorite bands and singers. I love Owl City, but also Gwen Stefani, which are two very different people/ bands.
6. Same for books. I love almost every book I read, from Meg Cabot, to Ally Carter and Lisi Harrison.
7. I love that I'm unique. That I'm shy at school, but completley outgoing and loud at home and with friends.

I tag, Abby, Tywo, Bleah, and Blindfolded Miles to tell us 7 of their favorite moments.

Okay, I was also given the Oh My Blog award from Brooklynn (thanks).
1. Get really excited that you got the coolest award EVER.

2. Choose ONE of the following options of accepting the OMB award:

(a) Get really drunk and blog for 15 minutes straight, or for as long as you can focus.
(b) Write about your most embarrassing moment.
(c) Write a "Soundtrack of your childhood" post.
(d) Make your next blog a 'vlog'/video blog. Basically, you're talking to the camera about whatever.
(e) Take a picture of yourself first thing in the morning, before you do anything else (hair, make up, etc)and post it.

3. Pass the award on to at least three, but preferably more, awesome bloggers as yourself. Don't forget to tell them.

I'll have either E or B tomorrow. I give this award to Alley Cat, Riley, Kenna-Page, Tay in Real Life, and It's Simple Love.

Need to catch up on a few things. . .

First of all I want to let you all know about Bleah's 300th post giveaway. Check it out by clicking here.

Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com!

Speaking of Bleah, she tagged me (Thanks 8] . . . Is it just me or does that kind of smiley face look, um, evil-ish?). The rules are to name five books you would like to live in.
  1. Evermore by Alyson Noel. In this novel, there is another realm Ever and Damon can travel to (because they are Immortals) called Summerland. Everything is perfect there. It's what you want it to be. Literally. Wish for something and its there. It would be amazing to live there.
  2. The Chronicals of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. I think this was one of Bleah's too. I'm picking this one because I think it would be cool to meet some of the characters.
  3. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. I want to live in the Mortal Instruments home town. I forgot it's name, but I think it's made completely of glass.
  4. House of Night by P.C. and Kristen Cast. It's a place where everyone (including humans) know vampires exist.
  5. The Host by Stephanie Meyer. Who wouldn't want to live in a place where aliens from many other planets came and inhabit most of the human bodies (erasing the human permanently and putting themselves in their bodies)? Not most people, I would guess. But no, I'm talking about the surviving humans in the underground caves. I would like to live with Jeb, Mellisa, Jared, Ian, and Wanda (a soul).
I was also tagged by Random Rawr (thanks). I'll do the tag tomorrow. I still have to do my homework. = (
So I am going to leave you on a very random note. . .

Sorry, I've been having three science classes (2nd, 7th, and 8th hour), because of the SATs preparation. And we used to watch this all the time in elementary school = )

I wish I were in a cartoon. . .

Phineas and Ferb to be exact. Have you noticed that they have been in summer vacation since 2008? Lucky. Schools been hectic with making up snow days, preparing for SATs testing, and projects and stuff. Anyway, I know I haven't been posting or commenting a lot recently. My laptop crashed (again) and I am now writing this from my cell phone. I hate the screen on this thing-its too small- and your blog links aren't connecting on here. But I promise when I find a computer/laptop I'll catch up on your blogs and updates. Sorry about this, my laptops always messing up and getting viruses. Hope I'll be back soon -Hannah

What language do deaf people think in?

Random question, I know, but it's been bugging me all day since I read it on MLIA. That and "the guy who dicovered milk. . . what was he doing with the cow?". Speaking of MLIA, I was reading it this morning and  came across one of the Yahoo vs Google battles. As usual, I went to see if it was legit. So, I typed "google" into Google, and under the listed suggestions was "google is watching you". Curious, I clicked on the link. It brought me to this page. (Click on link). It's very creepy, and I'll be using Yahoo from now on. More later, The Vampire Diaries is on. Gotta go watch. -Hannah

rAnDoM fRiDaYs

I went to my sister's horse show today in Morehead. That's about an hour from where I live. On the way here, some radio station was having a flashback to the 80s day. So I had to sit through my mom singing songs from Guns&Roses and the Bejees. It reminded me of this video, so I decided to do it for the random thing I talked about last post:

More later -Hannah.

I think I'll be using Urban Dictionary more often. . . {Short Post}

Today, I was reading MLIA and I saw an entry about the Urban Dictionary website. So, curious, I looked up my name on it. I think it describes me pretty well:  "Hannah= Name for a girl, who tends to be quiet although when you get to know her she has a great personality and can often be quite loud and described as insane. A Hannah tends to be single, because they are often seen as boring, because of their quietness and the way someone will judge her before they get to know her. A Hannah is often brunette and very mysterious, there's always something she's not saying. They are often smart, but very modest and can be a deep thinker. A Hannah is a child at heart and loves to have fun. A Hannah is happy."  I am quiet, brunette (not sure about the mysterious thing though), and a little bit insane. =] More later -Hannah.

These are a few of my favorite things. . .

Today, I went to the movies to see How To Train A Dragon. It was so funny, I loved it. My dad took me. My mom was in Nashville with my grandma shopping. My mom came home later and took us to Ashlyn to spend the night with our cousins. I was very bored on the trip here and decided to take pictures of a couple of things that I thought were cool. They are very random. My old converse sneakers, a face made out of marbles, my different color nails, a fog finger drawn face in the window

Page 123 tag

I was tagged by Bleah to do the Page 123 tag (Thnx, Bleah). What you have to do is pick up a book, go to page 123, and type from the fifth sentence on through the next five sentences. Okay, I'm just gonna see what books I have on the desk.

"Undead Much?" by Stacey Jay (2nd in the series)
Cliff wasn't one of the bad guys, but his timing was pretty suspicious. The chances he and the other zombies-not-behaving-normally were connected was better than good. But how?I couldn't help but feel that Cliff knew more than he was letting on.
"If you don't know anything, then why do you keep mentioning the others?"

"I'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you." by Ally Carter (1st in the series)
As Liz dragged our instructor to inspect the damage at the front of the car, I met Bex around back.
"What are you doing?" I demanded.
But Bex only grinned and reached into the trunk, revealing a bulging trash bag just like the ones that lined the street. "Couldn't leave the curb bear, now, could we?"
And then I noticed it; all up and down Bellis street, trash cans and plastic sacks covered the curb, waiting like soldiers standing at attention.

"Airhead" by Meg Cabot, author of the Princess Diaries (1st in the trilogy)
"Do you want some Tab Energy drink or something? Brandon go pour her a tab."
"No," I said, weakly, refraining from pointing out to her that Tab is sugar-free, not really useful for hypoglycemics. "I'm fine. Really."

Only found one on the desk, so I went upstairs to get two more, and realized half of my room is filled with books. I'll have to get a picture of that or something. Anyway, I tag anyone who follows me and wants to do it. More later.
