I've been tagged!

I have been tagged by Bleah Briann! Thanks Bleah! So what is tagging? It's basically a system used to help people get to know you better. When you're tagged you get to answer a list of questions, and then post about it, and then tag other people. So here we go:

  1. Do you like to write? Yes, I love writing! I'm working on a book called Bite Me right now.
  2. Favorite books? Airhead series by Meg Cabot, Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, and Gallagher girls series by Ally Carter are my top three. 8)
  3. Do you compose music/write songs? Um, I used to when I was ten. I even started a band (I will not tell you the name, because then I would die of embarrassment). But now I just like to practice my guitar so I can get better.
  4. Do you like poetry? I like reading it, but writing it's hard for me.
  5. Love someone so much who made you cry? Yes :(
  6. Ever break a bone? Not yet
  7. Been in a police car? Not yet 8) Just kidding! I'm not planning on riding in a police car anytime soon.
  8. Have you ever been in a boat? A paddle boat. Oh, and there was that ship touring Virginia in 5th grade.
  9. Fallen asleep in school? No, but i do daydream a lot.
  10. Did you sing today? Um, I sang a couple verses of Cowboy Casanova by Carrie Underwood
  11. KFC, Popeyes or Church's? KFC because it's Kentucky's Fried Chicken ( which is where I live)
  12. Chick-fil-a or What-a-burger? Chick-fil-a, because I haven't heard of What-a-burger
  13. Starbucks or McCafe? I don't drink a lot of coffee but Starbucks would definitely win if I had to choose
  14. Favorite time of the year? Summer, because the pools are open and I love the heat
  15. Do you ever talk to yourself? I think out loud. Does that count?
  16. Do you have a favorite treat you like to buy on occasion? I guess a . . . snowcone maybe
  17. Do you believe the Bible is the literal Word of God and is infallible? Yes
  18. What's your favorite sport? Soccer 8)
  19. What color is your ipod? It's small and hot pink. Kinda like the one I put above but without a screen.
  20. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? Europe.
  21. If you could go to any fictional place, where would you go? SummerLand from the Immortals series by Alyson Noel.
  22. Do you love or just like writing? Love it!
  23. What do you want to be when you grow up? An author and a doctor.
  24. Favorite animal? Cats ( especially black ones). I know black cats are supposed to be bad luck and all, but I have one named Hallow and he is so sweet. He loves praying at night. Okay, I know that sounds beyond weird, but he sits down and meows at the sky. It's weird, but extremely cute, too!
  25. Favorite song? Cowboy Casanova by Carrie Underwood or You belong with me by Taylor Swift. I can't decide.
  26. Do you like school? Well, it's school. I like learning and hanging out with my friends, but sometimes, I would rather just stay home.
  27. Are you a people person? Yeah, I guess I am
  28. Do you like to talk?  I talk a lot.
  29. Favorite food? Pizza
  30. Hobbies? Blogging, reading, playing soccer and guitar
  31. Favorite author? Between Meg Cabot (The princess Diaries, Airhead, etc) and Stephenie Meyer (Twilight saga and The Host)
  32. Favorite Weapon? Um, okay. This is a weird question. I would say a sword, though, because fencing has always seemed cool to me.
  33. Fun tag? I think I've been doing this tag for an hour,but still fun!
  34. Do you like Hannah Montana and all those girly people and movies like High school Musical? No! I hate it when people call me Hannah Montana. One of my best friends Ashley calls me Hannah not-tannah, because I hate Hannah Montana and am very pale. And for High School Musical, well, I'm not a fan, but my sister Riley is obsessed with Zac Efron. So, there is only so much I can do to avoid him.
  35. What are you afraid of? Hmm, not really the dark, but outside at night.
  36. Favorite flowers? Tulips.
  37. Expression on your face? Determination to get this finished before midnight, tired. . .
  38. Color of your eyes? My eyes are weird. They look blue from a distance, green when close to me, but when you look very closely they are gray. So I guess a combination of  the three
Who am I tagging and why?
  •  Jennifer (because she was my first follower, and is awesome)
  • Blindfolded Miles  (because she's always been there for me)
  • Talia (because we are into the same kind of books)
  • Alexandra (because she is a really nice friend to have)
Thanks everyone. Good night!

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while. But instead of making this post about death and grieving (it's a long story. But to put it shortly: Someone died recently, and I don't wanna feel like I'm invading their privacy), I'm going to put up this cool video of a meteor hitting Earth (keep your eyes on the right side of the screen to see it clearly). I think it's real, but I'm not sure. Here:

Well, gotta go. See you all later!

Advice for future writers by Lisi Harrison

Lisi Harrison wrote the Clique series and the Alpha series. I love both of them! So here is the preview of a packet  that she is sending to people who wrote to her last year. If you can't read the print, you can click here to make it bigger. Oh, and remember to visit Lisi's website (Click on the purse to enter) and "Blah-g"
More later~ Hannah ;)

I've seen it!

Just finished watching New Moon and it was very good. A step up from Twilight, and Kristen was good at her character in this movie, in my opinion. And even though, this was my least fav book (Because I'm Team Edward), I really loved the movie. They covered most of the scenes, and I laughed for most of the movie. It was very funny. The ending was really good, too. Sorry, I'm not giving any spoilers. Guess, you'll have to see it for yourself. Sorry again, I know this post is all . . .um squashed up and repetitive but I'm really tired. It's about twelve in the morning. More later. . .

PS: The only bad part was when all the lights came on in the movie theater and we couldn't see the screen, but other than that, I had an awesome night ;)

Mini blog: Again? **NEW MOON 3 days**

This has nothing to do with Twilight, New moon, or Stephenie Meyer. I'm just counting down the days. . .

So what this is about is my sister having another surgery to take her tonsils out tomorrow. It had got worst since her first surgery. :( But hopefully this will make things better. This time I'm pretty sure I'm staying home. Well gotta go. Post tomorrow. Bye!

Kay four days until New Moon. . . I found this amazing picture (while searching stuff on google) of  Edward, Bella, and Renesmae (spelling??). It is exactly how I pictured them! In this pic Bella is a vampire, too.

PS: THIS IS NOT MINE. I DID NOT MAKE IT, I JUST FOUND IT ON GOOGLE. NO COPYRIGHT INTENDED!

Okay, I know I've posted three times today, but I had to put these up.
Everyone knows I love Twilight, but even I had to laugh a little at this video. Tell me what you think:

I really don't know what to say about this one. . .
Not many people I know have made the connection that today is Friday the thirteenth. Like I said in my last post my sister had surgery, but she's fine now. I ended up going to school, too. . . and taking four tests. :| I'm glad that's over!

Any way in celebration of Friday the thirteenth, I decided to put the trailer of the original (from the 1980's) "Friday The Thirteenth" movie. Here:

Yeah, the 1980's were a strange time. . .
And since this is my  favorite scary movie, I have to put the trailer for "Orphan" up. Here:

I love this movie! When I get the full movie I'll try to post it here. :) Bye!

Today. . .

Hey, this is about the time before I go to school, and today my little sister is having surgery. My parents had to wake up at six to take her to the hospital, so now I'm home alone, except for one of my mom's friends upstairs sleeping. Now I'm debating whether to go to school or not. . . I really wanna stay home and go back to bed, but I have like four tests (Orchestra, Social studies, math, science) today. I guess I have to go or I'm going to fail, because there is no way I could make up all that work on Monday in AE. So I'm just procrastinating getting ready, by blogging about it. I'll post later. Bye!

Mini excerpt

Hi, everyone. I'm going to put a mini excerpt of the book I'm currently writing:
Don't get it Twisted (a Vampire Bite book)
   CHAPTER TWO

     “Great, just great” I mumble under my breath.  I stare at the board, and pretend to pay attention, even though I know there’s no point. I don’t need to worrying about failing.
    I feel Emily staring, burning holes in my back. I can see her too, without looking, because Ellie (her minion in training), is staring too. But not at me, at Emily, studying her every move. And I see the image in Ellie’s mind. It’s not that I’m looking in her mind particularly, but her minds just there, everyone’s is. I’ve toned down the volume on it, since the first time, and now its bearable. Not so bad, and sometimes an advantage. But sometimes, I just wish I were normal.

    Emily’s eyes glint as they take in my faded shirt and my pants with holes on the sides. Her ruby red lips turn up at the corners, and form the nasty smirk I’ve become used to. Her silken blond hair sways gently side to side, as she shakes her head slowly. She was planning something, something to torture me. I knew it wouldn’t be creative, firstly from experience, secondly because she’s not capable of anything that involves a lot of work.
    “ Wow, it’s hard to believe that she was even allowed in this school, with those hideous jeans and that hair- this isn‘t a place for the homeless” Emily says turning back to Ellie. “But I have a plan, don’t you worry, Sally”
    “It’s Ellie” Ellie replies and doesn’t look hurt at all. That’s because she isn’t, she’s just glad Emily acknowledged her existence, and I didn’t need to be a mind reader to figure that out.

That is the first part of the second chapter in my book. . . Tell me what you think of it. More later. . . Hannah

My OTHER blog

I've made two blogs, this one (obviously), and one with book reviews, so go check out my other one too, please. It has the awesome Owl City on my playlist there. It's Hannahbrookbooks.blogspot.com  (I know thats cheesy, but the good ones were taken). . . More later ~~Hannah

Taylor's video!

Hey! So my last post was about Taylor Swifts "Monologue Song (la la la)", but I didn't know how to make the video on the post. But thanks to Bleah (blaya) I now get how to do that. So here it is:

I know that the quality isn't really good, and you have to skip to 0:50, but that's because it would be copyrighted and taken off (like my other video of it was). So enjoy and comment :)

Mini blog: Taylor's monologue song

Okay. . . just checking out the aol news and found Taylor Swift's Saturday Night Live monologue. She made it into a song, and I loved it! Click here to go to the aol news website. Then, scroll down, click play for the first video (which is Taylor's song), then scroll down again to watch her spoof Kate Glosselin. Tell me what you think about the video's. . .
PS: She also mentions Taylor Lautner ("that werewolf from Twilight"), Kanye West, and Joe Jonas ("that guy that broke up with me on the phone"). And she flirts with Taylor.They would make a cute couple
Here are the lyrics ( i will also be adding it to my playlist, and video bar)-
I like glitter and sparkly dresses
but I'm not gonna talk about that
in my monologue
I like baking and things that smell like winter
but I'm not gonna talk about that
in my monologue
La la la la la la
I like writing songs about douche bags
who cheat on me
but I'm not gonna say that
in my monologue
I like writing their names into songs
so they're ashamed to go in public
but I'm not gonna say that
in my monologue
~~~~guitar solo~~~~
La la la la la la la
this is my musical monologue
You might think I'd bring up Joe,
that guy that broke up with me on the phone
but I'm not gonna mention him
in my monologue
(Hey Joe, I'm doin' real well)
Tonight I'm hosting SNL
but I'm not gonna brag about that
in my monologue
La la la
Ha ha ha
Ha ha ha
Ha ha ha
La la la
And if you're wondering if I might
be dating that werewolf from Twilight
*Mouths " Hey Taylor", blows a kiss, and winks*
I'm not gonna comment on that
in my monologue
La la la la la la la
this is my musical monologue
*looks around dramatically for a few moments, voice grows quieter*
you might be expecting me to say
something bad about Kanye
And how he ran up on the stage
and ruined my VMA monologue
*Sighs, voice returns to normal volume*
But there's nothing more to say
'cuz everything's okay
I've got security lining the stage
*two men walk up beside her, one holding a picture of Kanye*
In my SNL monologue
La la la la la la la
this is my SNL monologue
La la la la la la la
that was my SNL monologue
I guess this isn't as "mini" as I expected.Well, I'll post more later. . .
Really short post. . .
New Moon comes out in eleven days. I am SO excited! By the way this wasn't my favorite book in the series, because of Jacob (the ending was nice, though). But I'm still excited!
Today
Today has been pretty good, so I'm gonna post about it: Well, most of it happened in Mrs. Kleinheinz class. First, we finished our Persian/ Chaldean/ Assyrian battle project, which more fun than our regular paper work. Then, we started taking notes from the power point. With power points we only have to write whats in color. Today's color was pink. So everyone wearing pink got a piece of candy. It's kind of weird how that happened, considering I was wearing green, but decided on pink before going to school. So, I ate my piece and was trying to fix my cell in my pocket, when i felt something rough rubbing against my finger. It was a bunch of money. Money I had probably forgotten was there a long time ago. Then I went to Language Arts with Ms. Brown, nothing exciting then. Then to Orchestra, where we had a test. Ughh! I don't think I did so well on that. Then art, math, science, and finally eighth hour. Which is more science. At the end of eighth hour Shayla started prank calling people because Ms. Jostlin is a nice teacher that lets you do what you want at the end of the day. Then I went to work on the Leestown Lit. Magazine after school. That's all really, bye.
Wednesday, November 4, 2009
It's been a couple of days since I've last posted.Well, I decided to make another blog. Don't worry, I'll be keeping this one too. This one is just random and I've noticed I've been doing a lot of book reviews on it. So, I'm making one especially for books. It's URL is http://hannahbrookbooks.blogspot.com/   (I know that's cheesy, but all the good ones were taken)...
I'll blog more later ~Hannah
PS: Here's a picture of a Twilight shoe. . . (I can't wait for New Moon)
